CORELOGIC HOUSING MARKET UPDATE FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA: MARCH 2024
The monthly residential Southern California home sales figures for January 2024 have been made public by CoreLogic®. Six counties in the region—Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura—are represented in the data for new and resale single-family houses as well as resale condominiums.
Southern California January 2024 Median Home Sales Prices
The median sales price for all tracked properties in Southern California was $705,000 in January, a year-over-year increase of 5.3% for the region. All counties in the region saw annual home price gains: Orange (12.1%), Ventura (8.7%), San Diego (7%), San Bernardino (5.6%), Los Angeles (4.6%) and Riverside (2.1%).
Orange County again posted the region’s highest median sales price, at $1.1 million, followed by San Diego ($802,500), Los Angeles ($800,000), Ventura ($799,000), Riverside ($550,000) and San Bernardino ($475,000).

Southern California January 2024 Home Sales Activity
Southern California home sales volume increased by 6.6% from January 2023, with five of six counties posting annual gains.
Orange County posted the region’s largest annual increase in home sales, at 12.9%, followed by Riverside (8.7%), Los Angeles (8%), San Bernardino (3.7%) and Ventura (2.7%). San Diego County showed no change in year-over-year home sales volume.
