San Clemente, Orange County's southernmost coastal city, features a diverse real estate inventory in terms of property type, size, age, and amenities. From beach condominiums and newer townhouses to single-family homes and luxury bespoke mansions, San Clemente real estate listings have something for everyone. San Clemente is divided into nine neighborhoods, each with its own set of property types and features, ranging from newer residences in Talega and Marblehead to established beach-style areas like Central San Clemente.
Central San Clemente
The widest variety of real estate in San Clemente
Custom beach homes, coastal condo complexes, and builder tracts with single family homes can all be found in Central San Clemente. Downtown San Clemente, with its numerous boutique stores and cafés, is the area's best known.
Coast District
Single-family homes on large lots
The Coast District is a neighborhood in San Clemente's northern hills. The Coast District has some of the largest lot sizes, and many residences have panoramic views of the surrounding hills and the Pacific Ocean.
Forster Ranch
Large neighborhood tucked into the eastern hills
The large Forster Ranch subdivision is nestled among San Clemente's hills. Forster Ranch, with its mix of single-family homes and contemporary condo buildings, retains a tranquil ambiance while offering spectacular vistas and an accessible location.
Marblehead
Gated communities and panoramic views
Residents of Marblehead benefit from a high elevation near San Clemente's downtown area. Many of the houses and condo developments are located in gated neighborhoods and are built among the rolling hills and canyons just east of Interstate 5. The Marblehead Coastal Area is one of Orange County's final new coastline projects. Some of the properties in the Marblehead Coastal development are located along the Pacific Ocean. Luxury villas and custom residences, as well as a few commercial developments, may be found in Marblehead Coastal.
North San Clemente
Some of the more affordable subdivisions in San Clemente
A wonderful combination of condo developments, single-family tracts, and large bespoke houses can be found in North San Clemente. North San Clemente is home to some of the city's oldest residences, many of which have spectacular views of the coastline and Catalina Island.
Rancho San Clemente
Private location and a beautiful, natural setting
Rancho San Clemente houses and condos are perched high in the hills and provide some of the most breathtaking vistas in South Orange County. Rancho San Clemente has a tranquil setting and is near to numerous hiking paths.
Southeast San Clemente
Some of the best view homes in San Clemente
Southeast San Clemente has some of the nicest panoramic views in the city. Many of the homes and condo developments are high in the southern hills, with meandering lanes and a plethora of cul-de-sacs creating a tranquil environment.
Southwest San Clemente
Some of the most expensive luxury homes in San Clemente
Southwest San Clemente is one of the city's most popular and prestigious areas. Southwest San Clemente has something for everyone, with a diverse range of unique residences and beach condo complexes. When former President Richard Nixon bought his retirement house in the area, it became part of San Clemente's (and national) history.
Talega
Newer homes in a master-planned suburbia
Talega, one of San Clemente's newest neighborhoods, is a master-planned community with approximately 40 different builder tracts and condo complexes. Talega offers residences developed from 1999 to the present, as well as amazing amenities.
