It is said that a mother may take the place of all others, but no one can take her place, and we all know this to be true.
A mother only lives for her child from the moment she gives birth until the moment she breathes her last. From giving them their first morsel to hearing their first tantrum to helping them through their first heartbreak and providing continual support and a shoulder to cry on, a mother's job is never-ending.
There are no days off, no salary, and no gratitude (we all know we can be tough children), but a mother's love is unchangeable, and her fully grown adult offspring will always be there for her. And Mother's Day is the celebration which honours such unbelievable selfless humans that take care of us and nurture us through our lives.
So here is a shout out to all Mom’s – Happy Mother’s Day!!
